Role Overview:
The Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist is a versatile individual responsible for managing and executing social media strategies, creating diverse content, and designing high-quality graphics for multiple accounts across various industries, including fitness, health, and beauty. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing social media platforms using automation tools like HubSpot and Hootsuite, creating video content, and executing content strategies that align with the brand’s voice and goals. The specialist should possess strong people skills, be able to represent brands effectively, and demonstrate expertise in SEO, keyword research, and Canva for design tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Manage and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) for different industries, including fitness, health, and beauty.
Maintain brand consistency and voice across all social channels.
Use Hootsuite or HubSpot for scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
Engage with social media audiences, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Monitor social trends and provide insights to improve social media engagement.
Content Creation:
Develop and create engaging content types (posts, blogs, videos, infographics, etc.) tailored to different client audiences.
Create video content for social platforms, ensuring it aligns with brand messaging and trends.
Collaborate with clients to develop compelling and creative stories that resonate with target audiences.
Produce content calendars for consistent, well-planned social media execution.
Graphic Design:
Design visually appealing graphics and multimedia content using Canva, Adobe Suite, or other graphic design tools.
Create compelling visuals and infographics that enhance social media content and campaigns.
Design templates and creative assets for both social media and website use.
SEO & Keyword Research:
Conduct keyword research to inform content strategy and improve search engine optimization (SEO).
Implement SEO best practices in social media content, blog articles, and other digital assets.
Optimize content for discoverability and user engagement, focusing on organic reach.
Automation & Analytics:
Utilize automation tools (HubSpot, Hootsuite) to schedule and optimize posts, emails, and content delivery.
Track, analyze, and report on social media performance and content effectiveness (engagement, reach, conversion, etc.).
Implement adjustments based on analytics and KPIs to continuously improve performance.
Client Representation & Communication:
Represent various brands (FutureX, Fit Generation, iFlairs, and clients’ brands) professionally across all social platforms.
Attend virtual or physical meetings with clients as needed, providing insights, recommendations, and performance reports.
Handle direct client communications for content approvals and adjustments.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members, designers, and external vendors to create and refine marketing materials.
Work closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure alignment on campaigns and strategies.
Provide support for internal team training on social media trends, strategies, and tools.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
Content Creation: Strong ability to create different types of content, especially video content, for various platforms.
Graphic Design: Proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva, Adobe Suite, and the ability to create visually compelling content.
SEO Knowledge: Expertise in SEO, keyword research, and content optimization for organic growth.
Social Media Tools: Well-versed with tools like HubSpot, Hootsuite for automation, scheduling, and analytics.
Marketing Skills: Strong marketing acumen, with the ability to plan, execute, and report on content and social strategies.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to represent the brand and communicate with clients professionally.
Creative & Analytical: Ability to balance creativity with data-driven decision-making based on performance analytics.
People Skills: Comfortable interacting with clients, team members, and influencers, and able to maintain relationships.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with trends in fitness, health, and beauty industries, and ability to produce content for these sectors.
Project Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deliverables simultaneously.
KPIs:
Content Production: Deliver a minimum of 20-30 pieces of content (videos, posts, graphics) per week.
Engagement Rate: Increase engagement rates (likes, shares, comments) on social platforms by 10-15% per month.
Followers Growth: Achieve a monthly follower growth target (e.g., 500-1,000 new followers).
SEO Impact: Improve organic search ranking for target keywords by implementing SEO strategies in content creation.
Lead Generation: Generate leads via social media platforms, contributing to the overall business sales funnel.
Content Accuracy & Consistency: Maintain 100% adherence to brand voice and content guidelines across platforms.
